As a working distillery, we open our doors only for ticketed events, giving guests a rare behind-the-scenes look at how our award-winning rums are crafted.

Our experiences are designed for everyone from long-time rum enthusiasts to complete newcomers. You’ll explore the history of spiced rum, learn how Salford Rum came to life, and sample our small-batch expressions right where they’re made. It’s an intimate, up-close encounter with the sights, smells and flavours of the distillation process - perfect for celebrations, date nights, or simply discovering something new in Manchester.

• 12pm rum experience - 2pm lunch at The Black Friar
• 2:30pm rum experience - 12:30pm lunch at The Black Friar
• 5:30pm rum experience - 3:30pm lunch at The Black Friar
