Salford Rum awarded best spiced rum
We're excited to share the news that Salford Rum Original Spiced Rum has been independently awarded the UK's best spiced rum by Good Housekeeping.
Our Original Spiced Rum was tested by a panel of 10-accredited spirits and rum experts, and awarded the top score of 87/100 when up against 34 competitor spiced rums.
Each rum was blind tested with scores awards for smoothness and a balance of sweet, spice and fruit flavours.
Salford Rum Original Spiced Rum is inspired by the imports of rums and spices through Salford Docks in the early 1900s with flavours of vanilla, dried fruits, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, maple and citrus. It is produced in small batches at our very own Dirty Old Town Distillery and is bottled in a ceramic bottles with artwork by renowned Manchester artist Dave Draws.
